Beatrice Lang (Columbia University, 2005) is Language Program Director for Yiddish. Since receiving her PhD she has concentrated on teaching Yiddish language and culture and in the course of her career has taught in many places, including the Jewish Theological Seminary, the YIVO Institute, the Workers Circle, and Harvard University, as well as at Johns Hopkins University. She was a pedagogy editor for In Eynem: The New Yiddish Textbook (2020) and she is a writer and editor for the online Yiddish language program YiddishPOP.
