Study Abroad: Salvador

As a study abroad student in Salvador, Brazil, I had a truly amazing experience! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms by my host family and their friends, who were eager to share their culture and language with me. The classes at the institute were challenging yet engaging, and I found myself learning more than I ever thought possible considering I had spent a couple years studying Portuguese and Brazil at that point. Outside of class, I had the opportunity to explore the city’s rich history, vibrant music scene, and delicious cuisine. Overall, my time in Salvador was an amazing adventure that broadened my horizons and left me with a newfound appreciation for the vibrant culture of Brazil.
