Class Of 2023

Mackenzie is a senior studying Behavioral Biology and Public Health Studies. She was recently accepted to the Nemours Summer Undergraduate Research Program (NSURP), which has locations in Delaware and Florida. Mackenzie will be mentored by neonatologist Dr. Jennifer Liedel in Orlando, FL. Her project is titled “Impact of Milk Derived Cytokines on Milk Microbiome and Intestinal Barrier Function.” Mackenzie is passionate about breastfeeding and aspires to become an OBGYN to further work with the maternal-infant dyad. Read more on her project.
