Join us for the second screening of the Film in South Asia series, hosted jointly by the Global South Humanities Initiative and the Department of Anthropology. Professor Mohsin Rao will be introducing Jodhaa Akbar, a 2008 musical historical romantic drama by Ashutosh Gowariker about the fraught romance between a sixteenth-century Mughal emperor and a Hindu princess.

The Film in South Asia series is affiliated with Anthropology course AS.070.218 (01), but all members of the Hopkins community are welcome to attend screenings.
