We are scheduling Humanities in the Village workshops for Spring 2024 and into Fall 2024. If you are a faculty member, affiliate, postdoc, or graduate student at any Baltimore college or university and would like to present your work, please fill out the form below. About Humanities in the Village events

Time: Always at 6:30 p.m. on the last Monday of each month
Location: Bird in Hand Bookshop in Charles Village or The Ivy bookshop in Mt. Washington
Format: Scholars present short and publicly accessible excerpts of ongoing research in humanities subjects/projects, followed by spirited sessions of collective discussion and feedback.
Audience: These events draw a diverse audience of local teachers, students, professionals, activists, book lovers, and public intellectuals. The intimate setting provides scholars with the invaluable opportunity to fold critical dialogue into their ongoing projects.
