2026 Nemours Summer Undergrad Research Program

The Nemours Biomedical Research Department announces the Nemours Summer Undergraduate Research Program (NSURP), a funded 10-week research experience for undergraduate students interested in biomedical science, medicine, healthcare, and public health. Participants will engage in laboratory-based, translational, and clinical research projects at Nemours Children’s Health sites in Wilmington, DE; Jacksonville, FL; and Orlando, FL.

Throughout the program, students will work alongside Nemours clinical and research faculty, gaining hands-on experience in hypothesis testing, data interpretation, and scientific communication. Training includes human subjects protection, animal welfare, responsible conduct of research, and ethics. Program activities feature a seminar series, journal club, clinical shadowing, and educational events. Students will present their research at a poster session and a two-day symposium open to family and friends.
