The Johns Hopkins Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center for Minority Aging Research(JHAD RCMAR) is seeking a motivated student researcher to assist with administrative support, and program coordination activities. JHAD RCMAR focuses on advancing research on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, with a particular emphasis on addressing health disparities and supporting early-career investigators.
Student researchers’ responsibilities include:
- Developing a standard operating procedure for the JHAD RCMAR
- Increasing the Center’s online visibility
- Developing Impact, Evaluation and Annual Reports of RCMAR Scientists and the JHAD RCMAR
- Compiling information for a proposal for Special Issue
- Participating in drafting a Special Issue Proposal
This opportunity allows students to gain hands-on experience and fulfill an Applied Experience or Special Studies (course credit) requirement.
Positions are unpaid for the semester and typically completed for academic credit. Students should expect a time commitment of approximately 8–10 hours per week, with a combination of remote and occasional in-person work depending on project needs. Candidates should have strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
