Daniel previously had a tenure as Director in the Research Sciences department at Flatiron Health. He has a rich teaching background, having instructed in Johns Hopkins University’s undergraduate public health studies program and the Graduate Summer Institute of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, where he earned high praise from students. One student from 2022 remarked, “Professor Obeng is amazing! He clearly explains the material, ensures students understand the content, and makes the learning experience fun.” In July 2024, Obeng took on the role of Associate Scientist, contributing to both teaching and research at the Johns Hopkins Biostatistics Center.
