Join JHU’s Common Question for MBONGI: A Community Conversation on Maternal Health in Ghana, an evening of dialogue, shared learning, and community. This event will feature reflections from JHU undergraduates who traveled to Ghana in summer 2025 to investigate maternal health alongside Ghanaian researchers, nurses, midwives, OBGYNs, and community health workers. The conversation will explore how historical and colonial legacies influence contemporary birth outcomes and highlight best practices in maternal healthcare. Attendees will enjoy a shared meal and hear firsthand reports from the field.
