The Foreign Affairs Review is currently soliciting short essays of between 3 and 4 pages in length, long essays of between 4 and 8 pages, as well as term papers or original research not exceeding 15 pages in length. Priority is given to papers that expand the geographic and topical diversity of the Review. All submissions are due by December 10th at 11:59 PM! After submission, FAR editors will reach out for further guidance on edits prior to publication.

The Johns Hopkins Foreign Affairs Review, a production of the International Studies Leadership Council (ISLC), is the premiere student-run foreign affairs commentary and research publication on Homewood campus since 2019. The Foreign Affairs Review prides itself on publishing original and against-the-grain scholarship from Johns Hopkins University students and affiliates, as well as students from around the United States and the world.
