La Cocina is set in the bustling kitchen of “The Grill,” a Times Square restaurant, and captures the frenetic energy and tensions among its diverse staff, many of whom are undocumented immigrants chasing a version of the American Dream. 

The 2025 Latin American Film Festival is co-sponsored by the Program in Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies and the Aronson Center for International Studies. All films are captioned, free, and open to the public.
