Program Overview:
The Public Health Undergraduate Scholars Program (PHUSP), held at the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Public Health is an eight-week residential program designed to encourage historically underserved college students to consider careers in public health. No previous public health experience or coursework is required.

Program Offerings:
- Internship placements
- Classroom instruction
- Group activities
- Mentorship
- Participation in a 2.5-day research poster showcase at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia
Benefits:
- $3,200 stipend
- Round-trip transportation to Pittsburgh

- On-campus housing and travel to Atlanta for the research showcase covered by PHUSP
