The Johns Hopkins Lyme Disease Research Center has an entry-level position opening for recent graduates. This research coordinator position is an interesting, multi-faceted one. The work is primarily clinical studies, specifically for the Lyme Center at Greenspring Station. The individual would be part of a team coordinating the implementation of research protocols. Some general duties would include:
- Recruitment, screening, and enrolling patients
- Monitoring of study protocols and administrative processes
- Data collection and entry for electronic and paper-based research records
- Compliance with HIPAA, FDA, and IRB regulations and guidelines
- Appropriate handling of patient biological specimens and ultrasound images
- Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task
