Job Summary and Key Responsibilities:
The Bloomberg Health Behavior & Society department is hiring two research assistants to join a team of investigators conducting research on cannabis labeling and marketing. We are conducting a series of studies examining the content of cannabis advertising to better understand how these products are portrayed, and what their effects are.
The team is passionate about research on health communication and marketing. They provide a
welcoming, supportive, and fun environment. The work involved with this study is highly detail oriented. If you are someone who loved ‘find the differences’ as a kid, gets annoyed with typos, or notices when an item in your meticulously organized home is slightly out of place, this might be the role for you!
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
- Download advertisements from online retailers.
- Review the content of advertisements for the presence/absence of specific features.
- Collaborate with team to discuss ad features.
- Providing general research support as needed.
- Team members may have the opportunity to support data analysis and presentation of
data at academic conferences and/or academic papers. - We anticipate an average of 15-20 hours per week (flexible work hours).
