Seedling Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working to promote educational equity in food and STEM literacy through tailored youth programming, sustainable hydroponics products, and widespread initiatives tackling food insecurity, sustainability, and healthy living. Seedling is partnered with Baltimore City Public Schools and community-based organizations to teach children about plants, hydroponics, nutrition, sustainability, water quality, computer-aided design (CAD), engineering, entrepreneurship, and more. As a social venture, Seedling also partners with local businesses to build and sell hydroponics kits, which provide educational enrichment and help fund youth programming.

Seedling is looking for individuals to join the Teaching, Education, and Executive Teams.

Note: Transportation fees for teaching sessions will be reimbursed for all Teaching Volunteers and teaching Executive Team members!

Requirements:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have High School Diploma
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have an interest in education, sustainability, or STEM
• Have prior experience teaching or interacting with youth
