One of the events that will be happening for Black Maternal Health Week is the book talk by Dr. Sharon Malone. She’ll be discussing her new book Grown Woman Talk Your Guide to Getting and Staying Healthy. It will be moderated by Sherrilyn Ifill. The talk will occur at the Enoch Pratt Library on April 11th, 2024 at 7 pm. Spaces are limited. Use this link to register. 

The authors Laura McTighe and Deon Haywood will be in conversation with Tanay Lynn Harris and Jessica Marie Johnson about their newly released book Fire Dreams: Reproductive Justice and Black Feminism in the South on Tuesday, April 16^th from 6:00 pm -8:00 pm.
