For PHS Students: Hopkins Semester DC Information Session (Spring 2024)
October 3 at 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm
Interested in studying global migration and refugees while living in Washington, D.C.?
Join us for an in-person information session on Thursday, October 3, where you’ll learn about the Hopkins Semester D.C. program, themed Global Migration and Refugees. This immersive program offers selected students the opportunity to explore global migration, immigration, and refugee movements from a holistic perspective—covering everything from the causes of migration to the varied experiences of migrants and refugees based on race, gender, and class.
During this unique semester, students will take KSAS courses, complete an independent research project, intern in D.C., and experience life at the new JHU Bloomberg Center Building. Additionally, there’s the potential for a capstone trip to the U.S.-Mexico border (pending grant funding).
Meet Dr. Reynolds to hear about the program’s offerings, research opportunities, internships, and how you can get involved. Sign up for pizza and the session here: RSVP
