Hopkins Lecture Series: Senator Ben Cardin

In collaboration with HopkinsVotes and the Political Science Steering Council (PSSC), the Hopkins Lecture Series is thrilled to host Maryland’s Senior Senator Ben Cardin on campus next Tuesday (October 29th) for a moderated discussion on US Foreign Policy and Senator Cardin’s congressional tenure.

For over thirty-seven years, Senator Cardin has been a national leader on foreign policy, health care, retirement security, the environment, and fiscal issues while representing the people of Maryland in the US Senate, and before that in the US House of Representatives. As Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, he has worked across party lines to further American national security and ensure that good governance, transparency and respect for human rights are integrated into American foreign policy.
