Panelists Share Thoughts on Post-Islamic State Era

On October 5, the Aronson Center for International Studies sponsored a discussion on “Unexpected Challenges in the Post-Islamic State Era.”  Panelists included Robert Ford, former U.S. Ambassador to Syria and Algeria, Caitlin McNary, a humanitarian aid specialist who has served in multiple Middle Eastern countries, and Amineh Safi, a Syrian human rights advocate.  Sarah Parkinson, Aronson Professor of International Studies and Political Science, served as moderator.
