Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship Information Session
January 24 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Are you a foreign language learner earning a BA, BS or PhD degree in the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences? Are you a United States citizen or U.S. national? If both conditions apply, you may be eligible for a Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship to advance your language training and skills. FLAS Fellowships offer tuition support for academic year and summer immersive language study, and they are open to undergraduate and doctoral students in any KSAS major or department studying a less-commonly-taught language.
The International Studies Program, which administers JHU’s FLAS Fellowship Program at Homewood, will be hosting an Information Session at noon this Friday. No registration is required for the event – simply stop by Mergenthaler 264 anytime between noon and 1pm to learn about this unique funding opportunity. FLAS applications are due on February 15th.
